Why AI Strategy Isn’t Finished in the Boardroom.
I talked with C-Suite Brief recently about AI business transformation in “Why AI Strategy Isn’t Finished in the Boardroom.”

I think this is one of the more important ways to think about AI right now.
The models will change. The tools will change. What looks state-of-the-art today will be ordinary surprisingly quickly. So building an AI strategy around a particular set of technologies has a very short shelf life.
The more important focus is getting good at changing how work gets done.
That means giving the people closest to the work the agency to ask different questions. What am I doing today that AI could take on? Where does my judgment actually matter? What parts of my job could become more valuable as the technology improves? What am I still doing simply because this is how the work has always been done?
Do that often enough and something important happens. People stop waiting for the next AI initiative to arrive from above. They start developing the habit of redesigning their own work as the technology changes.
That thinking is also behind a lot of what we’re building at YouEx.ai. We didn’t set out to bolt AI onto a traditional sales stack. We started with the inbound lead-to-revenue process and asked what should change when AI can participate throughout it: capturing a conversation, researching a lead, qualifying it, routing it, following up, and helping move it toward a customer.
The particular agents and models will keep evolving. The workflow will keep evolving with them.
And that’s the bigger opportunity for companies adopting AI. You’re not just improving a process today. You’re building the organizational muscle to rethink the next process tomorrow.
In a world where the technology keeps changing, that ability to adapt may be the most valuable AI capability of all.
