Do visitors need a YouEx.ai account?

No. The embed loads on your site and talks to public endpoints. Visitors chat in their browser without signing up.

Can I prevent the widget from loading on unauthorized sites?

Yes. Configure allowed embed domains per agent. Leave the list empty only if you intentionally want open embedding.

What happens if someone tries to get a gated file without providing info?

The agent can discuss the resource but won't issue download links or fulfillment details until required Info Fields are collected through the live conversation.

Does client-side data unlock offers?

No. Offer and gated-content unlock requires server-tracked conversation data. Browser bootstrap info alone cannot bypass your rules.

How do I test before going live?

Use the Test tab in Agent Configuration. It mirrors public chat behavior for Q&A, info fields, offers, and scheduling.

Is the agent the same on my site and in Test?

Yes, by design — with one documented exception: the public widget preserves returning-visitor context via browser storage; Test uses server-tracked conversation state only.
